Besides level design, I completed game design for several of the Marine Squads rescue events and High Value Targets (HVTs) including this one. I was responsible for several passes of combat and encounter design. I wanted to make sure that combat was balanced; the space was engaging, and the experience was unique and memorable to the player. It was also important to me to empower the player as they were playing as Master Chief. And of course; I wanted each event to be fun!
